Debbie has been a member of Parkpoint Healdsburg since October of 2022. A real “people person,” Deb loves taking classes and is a regular in Earl’s, Emily’s, Shelly’s, and Lila’s classes. Deb needed a knee replacement and felt her daily workout routines had made her strong enough to handle the procedure on January 17 of this year. Deb’s doctor and physical therapists were very impressed with her advanced level of fitness and have released her to come back to the gym and do what she can in her beloved classes after only 6 weeks! We are thrilled to have her back with us!
Deb’s advice for anyone preparing for surgery is to “stay active prior and you will do much better post operatively.” She says Parkpoint is truly a blessing and a gift for her, and that many members and staff sent her text messages and cards while she was out. The community here is very caring and loving and really something special!
