Powerlifting is a strength & conditioning sport that comprises three endeavors at maximal load on three lifts: squat, bench press, & deadlift. 3 top reasons to powerlift:
- Strength translates to everything. Strength is the most valuable investment you can make in your life.
- You will become mentally stronger. The barbell teaches you discipline & how to power through a weight you thought impossible.
- It is safe. Under the eye of a trainer, you will learn proper technique & form. You will achieve short-term & long-term benefits.
Your journey in powerlifting is at your own pace. Your trainer will be there to guide you every step of the way & make sure that you’re safe. The early learning stages will involve a lot of small technique changes & building your confidence under the bar. All students will learn: bracing, rooting, breathing, optimal foot position, bar position, eye gaze, head position, & activation. Advanced training is for lifters who want to go beyond merely “exercising” & dedicate themselves to the pursuit of hardcore strength. It’s rewarding & ultimately transformative. Powerlifting has also been shown to decrease the risk of osteoporosis. All levels welcome with an initial review from the trainer.
