Nica Poznanovich

Nica Poznanovich, Pilates Director

Nica is a certified Pilates Reformer/mat instructor, Nia instructor, & lifelong mover. She has a BA in Dance & Performance Studies from UC Berkeley and is enrolled in an MFT Masters program focusing on sports & somatic psychology at University of San Francisco. Nica fundamentally believes that moving one’s body results in healing of the entire self.

Elena received her BASI Pilates certification in 2016. She started her training upon graduating from CSU Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She has specializations in dance-specific training, injury prevention, Pilates for pregnancy, & much more. “You’re doing this for yourself. And you should be very proud of that.

Paige Mattei

Paige Mattei

Paige taught her first yoga class in 3rd grade but waited until discovering the Santa Rosa Junior College program to pursue officially teaching. She will complete her comprehensive Pilates certification this winter, specializing in Pilates Mat, Reformer, and Apparatus to accompany her RYT-200. As a yoga teacher, she brings a holistic approach to mindful movement, emphasizing awareness of alignment and individual exploration. With a keen focus on encouraging students to connect with their bodies, Paige facilitates a supportive environment where playful experimentation is encouraged. She believes Pilates is more than a workout, but a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Outside the studio, you might find Paige guiding whitewater rafting adventures, tending to a thriving collection of houseplants that have turned her home into a jungle, or practicing counting to 100 with her leafy companions. “Pilates is intelligence guided by will, using memory & imagination, assisted by intuition.

Sabrina Mitchell

Sabrina Mitchell

Sabrina is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, Reebok Certified Cycling Instructor, & has taken numerous courses & trainings over the years. She has been a Group Exercise Instructor with Parkpoint since 1985 & specializes in both strength & effective cardio training. As a Pilates Personal Trainer, Sabrina trained with Balanced Body University & completed Levels I–IV in reformer as well as mat training. With her diverse background, Sabrina is able to train clients of all ages & fitness levels either on the fitness floor or in the Pilates Studio. She specializes in addressing muscular imbalances, strengthening & stabilizing the core, and staying fit as we age. Sabrina has the unique ability to connect with any individual & create a program based on their needs & abilities. “I want to inspire, motivate, & coach my clients so that they achieve their goals.”

Marie Pampanin

Marie Pampanin

Marie Pampanin, M.S. Clinical Yoga Therapy, is a certified yoga therapist, personal trainer, 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and Mat Pilates and Reformer Instructor/Trainer. With over twenty years of experience in the fitness industry, her philosophy and approach to teaching and training are from an integrative perspective. “Finding balance in the body through strength, mobility, flexibility, and focus increases our awareness and ability to stay healthy in all areas of mind and body, across our lifespan.”
