Emily Avila

Parkpoint Healdsburg Pilates Director

Emily is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, and NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. She holds Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer certifications through the SRJC’s Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training. She is also certified as a TRX Coach, Functional Training Specialist, and Girls Gone Strong Pre- & Postnatal. Emily grew up in the health and fitness industry, and has worked with a wide range of clients from rehabilitating injuries to improving strength and overall fitness. She specializes in strength training, mobility training, HIIT training (strength-based), and injury prevention and recovery. “You are capable of doing so much with your body. Credit yourself for what you can accomplish & never stop building on it!”

Amber is a fitness instructor, wellness lover, and community builder based in Sonoma County, passionate about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected through movement that’s both challenging and fun. Amber is known for hyping up the room with good energy, motivating playlists, spicy flows, and workouts that leave you feeling empowered. “Movement is a celebration of what our bodies can do.”

Tyishia is a certified Pilates Mat and Reformer instructor completing her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through SRJC. With a background in communications, marketing, group fitness, and mindset coaching, she brings positivity, encouragement, and joy to every class. After finding healing through Pilates in her own journey with arthritis pain, she is passionate about helping others move, feel, and live better—one joyful movement at a time. “Life’s too short for movement that doesn’t bring you joy. Let’s stretch, strengthen, smile, and find a little magic in every move.”

Crystal Glover

Crystal Glover

Crystal was first introduced to Pilates in 2005 from her physical therapist after a back injury during pregnancy. Since then, she has continued using Pilates to build strength & recover from knee & ankle injuries/surgeries. She developed a passion for helping others discover Pilates–how it can safely support rehab, improve mobility, & strengthen the body through thoughtful tailored modifications. This led her to pursue a 460-hour Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from Santa Rosa Junior College (Reformer, mat, apparatus). She looks forward to helping Parkpoint members build strength, confidence, & lasting fitness habits. As a lifelong dancer & yogi, Crystal emphasizes the connection between mind & body while creating space for movement, joy, & play in every class.

Andrea Godard

Andrea Godard

Andrea is a certified Pilates Comprehensive Instructor, trained at Santa Rosa Junior College, with expertise in classical principles and Balanced Body equipment. As a kinesiology student, she applies current movement science to her teaching, offering evidence-based and compassionate sessions. Andrea helps clients build strength through individualized attention and mindful practice. She views Pilates as a way to strengthen the mind-body connection, supporting overall health and meaningful relationships. “Small intentional improvements, practiced with patience and self-compassion, become the habits that shape us into who we want to be.”

Elena Gillogly

Elena Gillogly

Elena received her BASI Pilates certification in 2016. She started her training upon graduating from CSU Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She has specializations in dance-specific training, injury prevention, Pilates for pregnancy, & much more. “You’re doing this for yourself. And you should be very proud of that.

LeeAnna Gregorio

LeeAnna Gregorio

LeeAnna is certified in yoga and Pilates, and has been a body worker since 2016. She specializes in Pilates Reformer and mat classes and sound bath healing. Isabel Torres Malfavon

Isabel Torres Malfavon

Isabel earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed her Pilates Comprehensive Certification at Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) and holds a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Purusha, currently working towards her 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with them. Isabel combines her scientific background with her passion for Pilates and yoga to guide others in their movement practices, focusing on both mat and reformer Pilates. “Balance, strength, and peace begin within.”

Sabrina Mitchell

Sabrina Mitchell

Sabrina is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, Reebok Certified Cycling Instructor, & has taken numerous courses & trainings over the years. She has been a Group Exercise Instructor with Parkpoint since 1985 & specializes in both strength & effective cardio training. As a Pilates Personal Trainer, Sabrina trained with Balanced Body University & completed Levels I–IV in reformer as well as mat training. With her diverse background, Sabrina is able to train clients of all ages & fitness levels either on the fitness floor or in the Pilates Studio. She specializes in addressing muscular imbalances, strengthening & stabilizing the core, and staying fit as we age. Sabrina has the unique ability to connect with any individual & create a program based on their needs & abilities. “I want to inspire, motivate, & coach my clients so that they achieve their goals.”

Devin Moss

Devin (they/them) is a Mat and Reformer certified Pilates Instructor and will complete their comprehensive certification by December 2025 through SRJC Petaluma. Devin is passionate about supporting people in cultivating a deeper awareness of their bodies. With a background in education, Devin brings keen attention to detail with an empathetic and playful spirit. Devin believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness, making room for the messy complexities of being a human in a body. “Urgent matters are rarely important, and important matters are rarely urgent.”

Nica Poznanovich

Nica Poznanovich

Nica is a certified Pilates Reformer/mat instructor, Nia instructor, & lifelong mover. She has a BA in Dance & Performance Studies from UC Berkeley and is enrolled in an MFT Masters program focusing on sports & somatic psychology at University of San Francisco. Nica fundamentally believes that moving one’s body results in healing of the entire self.

Mary Vobecky

Mary Vobecky

Mary has been a runner for 25+ years and loves the gift of movement. She graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems. After 15 years of traveling the world for global event management, she pivoted to pursue her passions for health and wellness. In 2019, Mary got certified and started teaching indoor cycling. In 2023, she discovered Pilates Reformer. She trained with Balanced Body and started teaching in 2024. Mary is a lifelong learner and finds joy in helping others on their fitness journeys!
