The artists exhibiting at Parkpoint Health Clubs are members of the club or our very own staff. The Buchanan family (Club owners) are delighted to showcase the art of their members and staff, and feel blessed to have their clubs enjoy such beautiful work. They are grateful to have so many talented artists in all three clubs. It has been a pleasure to share their appreciation of art with all the members and Parkpoint community.

TAMARA FLORES
Tamara Flores is an eclectic, mostly self-taught, artist, mom, astrologer, tarot reader, and Reiki/energy work practitioner. Having a varied, multicultural background, she grew up in Mexico which gave her much appreciation for bold colors and pre-Hispanic and colonial architecture, as well as a deep respect for the intangible.
In her 20s, Tamara spent five years living in Sweden, India, and Japan teaching English to children and living in yogic ashram environments. In her 30s ,she studied Waldorf education, Reiki, and Mexican shamanism. Her art has been almost completely self-taught. It wasn’t until her 40s that she began following YouTube art tutorials and taking informal classes at the local art store. Now in her mid-50s and with her son at college, Tamara is looking forward to further exploring and expanding her artistic and spiritual capacities, which are the pillars of her inner life.
